Saturnalia
$25.00
Saturnalia was an ancient Roman holiday in honor of the god Saturn. This holiday was celebrated with a banquet, partying, all of which created an atmosphere that was very different from Roman social norms. One key characteristic during this celebration is role reversal between masters and their slaves.
This vignette is inspired by this idea. We see a character getting dressed and starting to playfully & curiously perform the role of a dominant figure, however she is overcome with the pleasure in the idea of having such power that an iconic symbol (whip) which usually brings pain and discipline, is now a symbol for pleasure and freedom to do as one pleases.
