STEEL WOOL BED
Steel, Steel Wool, Sweat

I welded round bar into a bed, I wove strips of steel wool in between the bars of the bed. After lying on the bed for 9 hours straight, I began to sweat.
The sweat began to rust the steel wool, leaving behind evidence of the body. In return, the bed left bruises on my body. I am interested in this exchange between me and the metal, the limits of the body versus steel.
The bruises were temporary, the bed continues to rust.
